Our Amenities at Hancock Hall

At Hancock Hall, we pride ourselves in the numerous amenities we provide for our residents. We want this to feel like our residents home away from home. When you walk through our facility, you’ll feel the warmth not only from our incredible staff, but also from the cleanliness and organization of all of our spaces.

Surroundings

At Hancock Hall, we have a variety of different areas for our residents to enjoy. They range from game rooms to outdoor gardens and even a couple of picnic areas. We want our residents to enjoy their stay and feel comfortable each and every day.

Activities

It’s important for cognitive function and continued daily social living skills that our residents have a number of activities at their disposal. We offer painting classes, art activities, word games, trivia, music, weekly entertainment and more to ensure our residents are constantly stimulated.

Dining Services

At Hancock Hall, we believe the quality of the dining experience directly affects the quality of life of our residents.  Led by Johnson & Wales trained chef, Jappy Blang, our dietary team strives to prepare nutritious, flavorful, and visual appealing meals that can accommodate any therapeutic diet requirement and the personal preferences of our residents.  Daily menus offer multiple options to choose from at breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Additionally, we offer an “Always Available” menu of classic, comfort meals such as chef’s saladpasta with basil-tomato sauce, or a ham and cheese omelet.  Small kitchenettes can be found on each nursing unit with a daily selection of coffee & tea, cookies, ice cream, yogurt, and fruit.

Residents at Hancock Hall can choose to eat meals in our dining rooms, small lounges, or in their rooms.  At mealtime, the warmly-lit dining rooms are set with table linens, decorative centerpieces, and ambient music.  Every effort is made by staff to create a dining experience that is comfortable, friendly, and social.  Certainly, if any resident needs assistance eating, nursing staff is trained and available to help.
